- ToyNetJapan is the online shopping site that provides a wide variety of merchandise featuring Japanese cartoon characters as well as other toys and hobby tools.
BIGBE, Inc. manages the website.
We do not sell second-hand items. Items we sell are the same products as those are sold at list price in Japan, not outlet products. That is because we only buy products from authorized manufacturers and wholesalers. All items are priced lower than its standard retail price in Japan. - Shopping Flow
- 1. Look for items you want by category or searching.
2. Put items into the cart. (NOTE: We do not yet secure a stock of items at this time.)
3. Contents of the cart are displayed. Check the quantity and the price.
=> You can estimate shipping cost and a grand total of your order by entering items of "Estimate Shipping and Tax" box:
- Select your Country.
=>You can see the list of countries and areas where EMS is available here.
- Select or enter your State / Province
- Enter your Zip / Postal Code.
- Click "Get a Quote" button
The website will calculate the cost of international shipping according to the weight of your order and the destination country.
Your shipping cost (EMS rate) is displayed.
- Confirm your shipping cost, and put a check in Table Rate and click "Update Total".
4. Your merchandise total are displayed. Check it and "Proceed to Checkout".
NOTE: Fees such as customs duty are not included.
5. At the check-out page, you will be asked if you would like to pay as a guest or register your personal information (Once you register your personal information, you can save the trouble of entering your shipping address from next time). Make your choice and click "Continue". If you have already registered, please log in.
6. Enter your personal information carefully. (If the shipping address differs from the billing address, put a check in "Ship to different address" and continue to enter the shipping address.)
7. Check your EMS fee, and put a check in "Table Rate".
8. Please make sure that you will be redirected to PayPal website when you place an order, and click "Continue" to review your order.
9. Check the details of your order, and proceed to payment by clicking "Place Order". Your order will be completed at this time.
10. PayPal website is displayed.
You can create a PayPal account, log in to your PayPal account, or pay by credit card through PayPal.
- Select how to pay your order.
- Enter required informations carefully.
Finally, "Review your payment" page will be displayed. Check the details of your payment, and click "Pay Now". Your payment will be completed at this time.
11. As soon as you make your payment via PayPal, you will receive three emails:
- Confirmation of Order (from ToyNetJapan)
- Invoice (from ToyNetJapan)
- Confirmation of Payment (from PayPal)
12. Shipment will be taken place within 3 working days after confirming your payment.
Your order, of course they all are brand-new and unopened, will be packed with great care not to be damaged during shipment.
13. As soon as shipping your order, we will inform you of your EMS Items number for Track & Trace service by an email. You can trace the present location of their order by using the EMS Track & Trace service.
14. It will take about 10 days for your order to reach you after we send you a notification of shipment. Please keep in mind that the number of delivery days differs from region to region. - Payment
- Pricing:
Prices at ToyNet Japan are based on the net price for the item in Japan. You'll find a few discounted items. Nothing is priced higher than its standard retail price here, even if it's a rare product.
- Settlement:
• “Toy Net Japan” accepts your payment via Paypal (covering most major credit cards such as American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard and Visa). We do not accept wire transfer, international checks or money orders.
• Payment is required at the same time placing an order.
• If we cannot confirm your payment despite your order has been made, we will contact you by email to ask you for making payment. In that case, payment is required within 20 days of your order.
• Please note that your order would be cancelled and returned to the stock if you fail to make payment within the due date.
- Customs duty:
There may be a case that customs duties would be imposed on packages to be shipped to outside of Japan. In that case, any customs for the items are the responsibility of the customer. - Settlement:

At present, "ToyNetJapan" sends all items via EMS. EMS is the fastest and reliable international mail delivery service which is shipped via Japan Post Service. “ToyNetJapan” orders can be delivered to most countries in the world. Goods up to 30kg can be delivered to almost all countries (with a few exceptions) quickly. Be sure to fill out all required fields when placing an order.

Please note that we do not either sell or ship to countries where EMS is not available.

• Shipping Time
The total time will be around a month. “ToyNetJapan” will make the shipment within 3 working days after the order has been made. It usually takes about 10 days for your order to arrive you. Under normal circumstances, The delivery varies depending on the conditions of the customs clearance process in each country. It normally takes three days after shipment for the items to arrive but it may take longer.
• Shipping Cost
Shipping cost is determined based on the EMS rate.
If you would like to estimate your shipping cost, please follow the procedure below:
1. Click "Add to Cart" button.
2. Enter each item of "Estimate Shipping and Tax", and click "Get a Quote".
3. Then, the website will calculate the cost of international shipping according to the weight of your order and the destination country. EMS fee will be indicated.
4. In addition, put a check in "Table Rate" and click "Update Total" button. You can confirm the grand total of your purchase.
5. If you do not want to continue shopping, please click dust box icon of each item, and items you added to cart will be cancelled.
• Delivery Status
We will notify you of the tracking number once we have shipped your order. Customers can trace the present location of their order by using the EMS Track & Trace service. If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 days after confirmation of shipment, we will contact you by email to inform you of the status of your order.
• Additional Fee
There may be additional taxation incurred on an order, depending on the country’s policy, for which we are not responsible. Hence, the customer must pay any extra tax or customs charges that arise. We strictly follow all national and international regulations regarding the sale, purchase and shipment of any product or product component that is restricted or prohibited by any Japanese and International law. As far as possible, the shipping fee will be based on the indicated gross weight. Please note that for large orders there will sometimes be a difference in shipping fee. In such cases, we will send a seperate email containing details of the adjustment.
- Domestic Shipping:
Please note that “Toy Net Japan” does NOT ship within Japan at present. We apologize for any inconvenience. - Domestic Shipping:
- Canceling orders
- Once an order and payment have been made, it is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel the order or change the destination of delivery.
- Return Policy -DOA-
- “Toy Net Japan” Return Policy is as follows:
• If your item is damaged during shipping, please e-mail us within 10 days and immediately file a damage report at your local post office. Once the post office files a damage report, they will ship your item back to Japan at no charge. After we receive the damaged item and damage report, we will immediately arrange new one for you, or refund the item’s full amount, including all shipping charges.
• In the case the item delivered is not what you ordered, notify us within 10 days of arrival and ship it back to “Toy Net Japan” office within 10 days after notifying us. We will immediately arrange right items for you.
NOTE: We do not accept returns that are not claimed within the assigned period. Please verify all items upon delivery. If you have any further questions, please email us.
NOTE: Refund will be posted to your PayPal account. Transaction fee will be deducted from the total amount of your refund. - Availability
- We can ship your orders immediately if ordered items are in stock. As for plastic models, we have sufficient quantities in stock because we check the available quantity and make an additional order everyday. On the other hand, most garage kit items tend to no longer be sold once the item runs out of stock.
Here is some background information on the various manufacturers.
Tamiya:
Japan's largest manufacturer of plastic models and radio-controlled model cars. "Spot" production are relatively small in number. Almost anything in their current catalog is usually available.
Aoshima:
The manufacturer of plastic models and garage kits. Plastic models are regularly produced, but garage kits are produced small quantity.
Hasegawa:
The manufacturer of plastic models as well as selling overseas production plastic models. The company holds a lot of "Spot" production but as for standard items, they are relatively small in number and rarely reproduced.
Fujimi:
The manufacturer which produces plastic models. Almost anything in their current catalog is usually available.
Bandai:
Japan's largest toy manufacturer which is famous for Gundam plastic models and garage kits. The company produces garage kits featuring cartoon characters. New (brand-new mold, additional mold items) Gundam plastic models are difficult to obtain for the first couple of months after sold out, but regular products are relatively easy to obtain. Garage kits become difficult to obtain once they are sold out.
Others and Garage kits (Good Smile Company, Alter, Max Factory, Kotobukiya, etc.):
It is true of every manufacturer that the number of brand-new production are relatively low and rarely to be reproduced. Popular items are tend to be sold out before release. We recommend that you place pre-order as early as possible when you want to purchase that kind of items. There might be a rare case that the number of deliverable quantity is reduced from the quantity of orders. As a result, we might not provide you with reduced items even if you have placed pre-order. “Toy Net Japan” is managed by BIGBE, Inc. based in Japan. Our office is open Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 5.30pm Japan time. The office will be closed on Japanese national holidays as well as Sundays. (Refer to About Us about our specific holidays) We will notify you in advance on our website when our office will be closed for holidays. Any inquiries made outside of our Japanese operating hours will be answered the following business day. - Privacy Policy

1 The Terms of Use are an agreement between you and BIG BE Inc regarding the service of “Toy Net Japan”, which you shall accept and act upon accordingly.

reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use at anytime without prior consent.
2 (Use) You shall use and browse “Toy Net Japan” according to the Terms of Use and other guidelines stated on the “Toy Net Japan” website BIG BE Inc may modify the content without your prior consent.
3 (Age Restriction) You shall not use “Toy Net Japan” if you are not of legal age and are not allowed to form legally binding contracts. Minors can use “Toy Net Japan” only under the supervision of a parent or with a guardian's consent.
4 (Restriction and Default) BIG BE Inc may restrict the access of the service or suspend your account without prior consent in the following cases:
• if BIG BE Inc acknowledges you breached any part of the Terms of Use
• if you delay or fail to pay your order
• if you perform any of the cases stated in § 5
5 (Prohibition) The following are not allowed on the “Toy Net Japan” website:
• any interference of the operation of service
• any illegal exploitation of credit cards
• any violation of third parties’ interests or the possibility of such behavior
• any violation of third party's trademarks, copyrights, privacy and other related rights
• any acts against public order and standards of decency
• any criminal act or intentional criminal behavior
• registration to “Toy Net Japan” with a third party's e-mail address
• if you perform any business activities or related activities to earn your own profit through “Toy Net Japan”
• if you exploit or provide any harmful programs such as computer viruses or the like
• any other behavior BIG BE Inc deems inappropriate
6 (Reviews, Comments, Communication and other Content) You may post reviews, send e-mails, submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions or other contents as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights or otherwise injurious to third parties. The content may not contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any other form of "spam". You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead to the origin of a credit card or other content. BIG BE Inc reserves the right to remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content. BIG BE Inc has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content posted on the website. BIG BE Inc takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.
7 (Copyright) You shall not exploit any information or content without express copyright owners' consent beyond the private or fair use authorized by Japanese or international copyright laws. In the event of any claim of infringement, you, at your own responsibility and expense, shall solve the problem and protect BIG BE Inc from any harm and/or damage.
8 (Purchase) When shopping on “Toy Net Japan” you agree to all terms stated in Terms of Use. Once you’ve ordered, BIG BE Inc will send a confirmation e-mail to you. The purchase agreement will be made between you and BIG BE Inc once the confirmation e-mail is sent. Cancellation of an order is no longer possible after reception of that email.
9 (Termination) BIG BE Inc may terminate the sales agreement you and BIG BE Inc have reached according to § 8 without prior consent in the following cases:
• if you breach the Terms of Use
• if BIG BE Inc notices illegal use of the credit card
• if BIG BE Inc notices you may fail to pay
• if BIG BE Inc cannot deliver the items because of an incorrect address or long absence of the user Regardless of the statement above, BIG BE Inc may cancel, terminate or process the appropriate step, in the event BIG BE Inc acknowledges any harmful conduct or inappropriate act anytime.
10 (Payment) “Toy Net Japan” accepts your payment via Paypal (covering most major credit cards such as American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard and Visa). We do not accept wire transfer, international checks or money orders. In case any problem should arise between you and the credit card company, you are responsible to protect Toy Net Japan from any possible harm or damage caused by the dispute.
11 (Delivery) Shipment wil take around 10 days upon receiving an order, therefore making the average time from order to arrival of the item within 20 days. The delivery varies depending on the conditions of the customs clearance process in each country. Toy Net Japan is not liable for the exact delivery date of any order. BIG BE Inc reserves the right not to be liable for undelivered items to countries that have no diplomatic relations with Japan or countries where BIG BE Inc does not have the possibility to track the order.
12 (Restricted or prohibited goods) “Toy Net Japan” will not refund nor be held responsible for items that are stopped at customs. Thus it is ultimately your responsibility to make sure to contact your local customs office and ask if the article can be legally imported to your country.
13 (Return Policy) “Toy Net Japan” Return Policy is as follows: If your item is damaged during shipping, please e-mail us within 10 days and immediately file a damage report at your local post office. Once the post office files a damage report, they will ship your item back to Japan at no charge. After we receive the damaged item and damage report, we will refund the full amount of the item, including all shipping charges. 14 (Security) BIG BE Inc will use all possible security measures to prevent your private information from leaking out and being intercepted or read by any outsider. BIG BE Inc uses the standard e-commerce security technology for online encryption called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL encrypts all data and prevents it from being read by any third party pretending to be you. BIG BE Inc meticulously secures e-mail messages sent to you. However, if a hacker sends a virus-containing e-mail pretending to BIG BE Inc, you should not open any suspicious e-mails. If you receive such e-mails, please notify us immediately.
15 (Suspension of Service)
1. BIG BE Inc may suspend all or part of “Toy Net Japan” service to maintain operating accurately without your prior consent in the following cases:
• in case of a regular or emergency system maintenance
• in case of fire, blackouts or when the intervention of a third party prevents service operations
• if BIG BE Inc decides the suspension of service is necessary due to any other reasons.
2. BIG BE Inc is not liable for any loss or damage in connection with the service suspension as stated above.
16 (Other Indemnifications of Responsibility)
1. BIG BE Inc is exempt from any obligation after sending the needed messages to the e-mail address you registered with. BIG BE Inc is exempt of any obligation after delivery of the ordered items to the address you stated in the purchase form.
2. BIG BE Inc is not liable for any damage or problems that cause delay or failure of the delivery by causes beyond reasonable control, including earthquakes, natural disasters, government action, riot or civil commotion and labor disputes.
3. BIG BE Inc is exempt of liability for any damages, loss or inconvenience to you by trading the goods through “Toy Net Japan” beyond the Terms of Use, even if the law states it’s a legally acceptable request.
4. BIG BE Inc is not liable for any damages caused by you not using “Toy Net Japan” services.
5. BIG BE Inc is exempt of liability when an identification of the user according to the method BIG BE Inc stated is not possible after the user changed his/her password.
6. You are liable for any dispute with third parties that arise from your use of the service within your own responsibility and own expenses. BIG BE Inc. is not responsible for troubleshooting regarding such disputes.
7. BIG BE Inc. disclaims the warranty of completion, accuracy or security of information sent to you such as personal subjective estimation, out of date information and hearsay in case it includes data BIG BE Inc. received directly from you before.
17 (General Provisions)
1. If you should fail to pay or if you should breach the Terms of Use in any other way, BIG BE Inc. will have to hire an attorney to seek injunctive relief or remedy for any damage that may have been caused. In this case the user has to accept the cost of hiring the attorney.
2. Some pages on “Toy Net Japan” use ‘cookies’ to enhance browsing and shopping on the site. By agreeing to the Terms of Use you also allow the use of cookies when browsing “Toy Net Japan” In case you disable the use of cookies, you accept that BIG BE Inc. may not provide some of the services connected to it.
18 (Governing Law and Venue) “Toy Net Japan” Terms of Use is governed by the Japanese law. Any possibly arising legal actions (including judicial and administrative proceedings) shall be brought to the Tokyo District Court, Japan.
